So, after much deliberation, I am joining RYBSAT this week. Basically, RYBSAT just means “read your book shelf a thon.” It took me a while to figure out which shelf I want to read. Now, though, I am all set for RYBSAT!

The really cool thing about this readathon is that it is going to be TWO WHOLE WEEKS.

And, afterwards, we have Tome Topple, so I am in reading marathon heaven right now.

As always, I want to share that: 1) I am a Slytherin, so rule breaking and ambition are a given.

Read Your Book Shelf a Thon (Round 1) TBR:

Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkowski (This is the cheating bit, because I was reading this already. It’s not from the shelf that I chose for this readathon, though. But, I need to finish it!)

Truthwitch by Susan Dennard (supposedly, I was reading this, too. I may put it down, because I haven’t officially started it. But, to be fair, there’s another Susan Dennard book on this book shelf, so, kind of a substitution situation going on).

The School for Good and Evil by Soman Chainani

The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

The Girl who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Cathrynne Valente

If I do transform into the incredible hulk of reading and finish all of these books, I will then move on to read their sequels (except maybe…Hang on, let me ponder.

NO. READ ALL THE THINGS!).

Glad that was settled so quickly.

Moving on to goals, they’re basically the same ones that I have been trying to achieve. But, I am going to try to post more throughout the week (hopefully), and comment on blogs frequently as well.

So, if you know any nice peeps for me to connect with, as always, let me know. I could always use some awesomeness in my life.

And, if you are going to be doing RYBSAT this upcoming fortnight, you can connect with me here, Twitter, and Goodreads (I am also on Tumblr. Link to all of these things is right on the homepage and on the About Me page as well).

  1. Wait, you’re a Slytherin? High five! I’m actually a bit of a Harry myself. I tend to get stuck between both Slytherin and Gryffindor houses with the latter being my final sorting. Which is fine, I’ll take Gryffindor, but my alter ego 100% identifies with Slytherin. Evil masterminds for the win. 😉

Anyways, I never participate in readathons because I ultimately never end up reading any more than usual and feel like a bit of a fail, but wow, you definitely are set up for a marathon heaven! I like that I actually recognize some of your book choices as well! Both Truthwitch and The Darkest Minds are on my TBR as well. If you end up reviewing them for the blog I’ll definitely have to stop by to see your thoughts to determine how high on my TBR they should be. XD
