Week 2 of July TBR

Welcome to week 2 of July. I have not made a TBR in so long, and I want to get back into a nice routine. Therefore, without much dilly-daddling, here’s my TBR for the week.

New Beginnings

The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima
I have been slowly reading this book, and I want to see how it ends. All I need is to dedicate some serious time for reading every day, because there are so many great stories to delve into. This is one of them.

Rebel Mechanics by Shannon Swendson
I saw this book on Goodreads, and then picked up the first two books in this series. It’s not really high priority, since it’ll take me forever to get the third book, but I am really curious about it. Steampunk, supposedly?

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
From what I have heard, this book is a quick read, which is exactly what would make me feel much better right now.

The Falconer by Elizabeth May
My copy of the sequel to this just came in the mail, and it’s TIME for me to read this series. I’m interested in steampunk quite a bit (thinking of a steampunk story with mermaids and fairies).

Sequels

The Elite by Kiera Cass
I know not many people like these books, but I actually find them quite relaxing. While I am not sure I want to read about Prince Maxon’s kid in the spin off, I am curious about America Singer.

The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson
Gosh dang it, I want to finish this trilogy! But, I have been intimidated by the book’s size again, so I have to summon all the courage in me to try reading it. Le sigh.

Also:

I am trying to write poetry more frequently, now that my dear friend Ashley is helping me write in a clearer way. Hopefully you’ll find my poems more accessible, especially with my thought process revealed a little more before each poem from now on.

Suggestion Box:

Is there anything you’d like me to tackle in my writing? Feel free to suggest things, and I’ll try to think of a way to discuss the topics. If anything, it can always just be a discussion type of post on here.
